Healthy meal pattern
Start with organizing your weekly menu. Following a 5 to 6 meal pattern of small frequent meals is the best approach to make your stomach flatter in a very natural way.
Ideas for a 5 meal pattern:
High protein well balanced breakfast
Vegetable or fruit smoothie
Well balanced lunch
High protein snack accompanied with one serving of fruit or a serving of raw vegetable
High protein dinner with two or three servings of low carb vegetables.
Increase physical activity
To burn more fat tissue we need to exercise. Find an activity you enjoy doing that involves resistance or cardio exercise. The easiest way to start exercising is walking 15 to 30 minutes every day after the largest meal. You will only need a good pair of sneakers and good music to enjoy the summer walk.
Fasting for approximately 10 to 12 hours per day
Fasting is a great way to boost your metabolism. The body needs time to boost the metabolism by fasting 10 to 12 hours a day. Fasting can burn the fat stores, improves insulin resistance and blood sugar levels as well as improves blood pressure. Dietvana recommends waiting 10 to 12 hour after your last meal. For example, if you finish eating dinner at 8 pm then fast until 8am.
Drink water on antioxidant drinks
Drink at least 64 ounces, or 2.2 liters, of water a day to stay hydrated and clean flush toxins from your body.
Avoid drinking high calorie drinks that will make you accumulate fat tissue. Instead of high calorie drinks here are some healthy drink ideas for this summer:
A no calorie drink like a freshly squeezed lemonade made with fresh lemons and stevia.
Add fresh vegetables to the water such as cucumbers to increase vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, zinc and antioxidants to help with weight loss, skin health and hydration to cleanse your system.
Increase your fiber intake
Adding fiber, found in plant based foods, to your diet will cleanse your body. Aiming to eat 25-30 grams of fiber a day can assist with weight loss. Fiber rich foods send a message of fullness to the brain and improves your body response to post meal satiety to reduce hunger.
Good sources of high fiber foods are:
Fruits
Vegetables
Whole grains
Bran cereals
Nuts
Beans.
